DASFAA 2007 Workshop on Scalable Web Information Integration and Service (SWIIS 2007)
In conjunction with the 12th International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications(DASFAA2007), April 9 – 12, 2007, Bangkok, Thailand
Workshop Goals and Topics
Recent advances in Web technologies and applications such as Web Data Management, Web Information Integration, Web Services, Web Data Warehousing, Web Data Mining, have rapidly changed our life in various ways. The objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers, industrial practitioners, and developers to study how the Web information can be extracted, stored, analyzed, and processed to provide useful knowledge to the end users for various advanced database and Web applications. This workshop aims to promote all the areas related to Web information technology.
The research topics include but are not limited to the following areas:

Paper Submission
All submissions should be in English. Submission of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one author will attend the workshop to present the work. Authors have to submit their papers (6 pages, IEEE-CS Proceedings-like format, Trim size: 9 inches x 6 inches)by sending PostScript or PDF files to xfmeng@ruc.edu.cn. The post-workshop proceedings will be published by World Scientific, a Singaporean Publisher.
