孟小峰，1964生，博士，中国人民大学信息学院教授，博士生导师。现为中国计算机学会理事、中国计算机学会数据库专委会秘书长，国家自然基金委第十一、十二届评审专家组成员。主持或参加过二十多项国家科技攻关项目、国家自然科学基金以及国家863项目、973项目，获国家科技进步二等奖，电子部科技进步特等奖，北京市科技进步二等奖等奖励，入选“中创软件人才奖”，“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，“第三届北京市高校名师奖”。研制开发的主要软件系统有国产数据库系统COBASE、嵌入式移动数据库系统“小金灵”、中文自然语言查询系统NChiql、并行数据库系统PBASE/1和Native XML数据库系统OrientX等。。近5 年在国内外杂志IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering (TKDE)、Geoinformatic、中国科学等及国际会议VLDB、SIGMOD、ICDE、EDBT 等发表论文近100 篇，其中SCI/EI/ISTP 检索收录论文100 篇次，编辑出版学术专著《移动数据管理：概念与技术》（中国计算机学会学术著作丛书）。获国家发明专利授权2项，国家发明专利申请受理8 项。并多次担任本领域重要国际学术 会议的各类主席如ICDE2009 General Vice Chair、CIKM2009 DB Vice Chair、MDM2008 PC Chair 、SIGMOD2008 PC member等。近期主要研究领域为Web数据集成、XML数据库、移动数据管理、闪存数据库等。
