MOTIVATION

With agile economic growth in East Asia, information technology has been penetrating at a rapid pace into many industries in China and the Chinese speaking countries. In China, almost all computer systems are developed in Chinese. So it is very inconvenience for Chinese DBMS users to use the English version DBMS.

The urges in Chinese Database Management System (CDBMS) attract the interest of researchers in Mainland China to conduct research this area. To further develop the applications and exploit its tremendous potential in China, we would like to take this issue as a forum for explorers to discuss the CDBS architecture, Chinese query language, next-generation data management and next-generation applications in China, such as e-commerce, digital libraries, web-based applications, and the use of XML in web query.

TOPICS OF INTEREST?

We invite the submission of original research contributions including (but not limited to) the areas listed below.
